Kripalu is a traditional hatha practice that emphasizes compassionate self-witnessing. While the class itself may be slow or rigorous, each student is encouraged to look inward to determine his or her own level of engagement. With attention to breath, loving postural cues and inspiring music, the practice becomes an empowering, life affirming meditation in motion.
Each class includes breath awareness and a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen and balance the body. We end with a deep relaxation.
